FROM MY STUDIO, ALONG THE THAMES TOWPATH
My studio is set back from the River Thames along the tow-path. If you are visiting, there are some lovely walks along the river including to Dumsey Meadow, which is the only remaining grazed unimproved Thames-side meadow in Surrey. There are local cafes and pubs and a little ferry at Shepperton Lock that takes you across to the other side of the river where you can find D'Oyly Carte island. A perfect spot for coffee and pancakes.
