“Earthing” is part of my natural tapestry series of paintings which unearth and deconstruct the myriad of pattern, shape, colour and texture in the landscapes around the South Downs. This piece is a visual amalgamation of memories and feelings from one or many of these far-reaching viewpoints, with a strong graphic narrative that threads its way through most of my work.
 
The more you look, the more you see. I want each painting to take me somewhere different; somewhere I hadn’t planned to be.
